Are readers leaders? A key point about most all success, motivational, human behavior books is that though there are many books on these subjects you can trace their roots right back to the original success manual the B.

What does that have to do with this topic? Just that, this is one success manual that needs to be in your library.
In it we see the success and failure of historic leaders and can hopefully learn from their mistakes and successes.
I have noticed that a great deal of the successful people I run into in life are voracious readers.
They are also selective readers.
This means they are not reading the dime westerns or the trashy romance novels.
They are reading to learn, to improve and to be inspired.
How can we aspire to lofty goals if we are not inspired? You may have noticed that leaders usually are paid more than followers.
Do you desire to be a leader? Yes means, you need to be a reader as readers are leaders.
You may need to be reading books on leadership by people like John Maxwell and Steven Covey.
Desire to get along with and have people like you? Read Dale Carnegie's books.
Ready to start thinking big? Read David Schwartz's The Magic of Thinking Big.
Reading to change your speaking to a more positive level? Read The Self Talk Solution or What to Say When You Talk to Yourself by Shad Helmstetter.
Think there's no opportunities where you live? Read Acres of Diamonds byRussell Conwell.
Reading can spike the imagination far beyond everyday thinking.
To move forward in business sometimes we need a new way of looking at things.
A new paradigm based on thoughts we may not have thought before.
I had one of my children pay me a compliment once as she said Dad, I like the kind of books you have, do you have anything else good for me to read? There is nothing better to me than my children starting to read the kind of materials that will give them a positive I can do it attitude on life.
