Literary Classics on Socialism - Why You Should Oppose President Obama"s Expansion of Social Program
Of course, as long as that leader of the Free World is worldly enough, wise enough and of the right mindset, today, we live in the present period and it is a complicated world we live in.
Capitalism has made America great, in fact the greatest civilization ever created in the History of the human race, quite an accomplishment in only 200 plus years.
Bravo! Still, many like the allure of socialism and like the new talk of "spreading the wealth" and redistributing some of those riches to the lower classes.
Taking from the rich and giving to the poor so to speak.
And yet, this is a very unwise tact and you'd think that the best and brightest, and so-called academic geniuses would have read some of the literary classics of socialism.
Apparently not, but since I have let me recommend a very good overview of these literary Classics, one you should read if your perception differs from my comments: "The Lost Literature of Socialism" by George Watson, Lutterworth Press (2001).
This is a fine work with quotes from George Orwell, Carl Marx, and de Tocqueville.
In fact, if you can stomach some of the reality of socialism, you may very well appreciate some of Hitler's socialism comments, as they are somewhat telling and foreshadowing of things to come in America if we continue on our present path.
Now don't shoot the messenger, just educate yourself.
Case in Point: Not long ago the DHS - Department of Homeland security issued an unclassified directive that our nation was under threat from "right-wing extremists" who; "Oppose President Obama's Expansion of Social Programs" and well, let me just leave it at that.
It's time to educate yourself and then vote appropriately.
Think on this.
