Oil Extractor Tools
- An oil rig is used to extract oil from a well. After the oil well has been located, an oil rig is usually constructed to drill the hole through which oil will be removed. The oil is then pushed through a series of pipes which drain it into tankers and barrels. It is then taken to the refineries to be refined. Most oil industries in the world utilize this method when drilling oil either on land or at the sea. The oil is refined into products such as petrol and diesel.
- The rotary drum pump is used to extract oil from engines. The pump is inserted into the oil input hole of the engine. Once it is inside, the crank is turned and it lifts the piston up and down. It is through this up and down movement that the piston creates resistance which is then used to pull the oil up and out of the spout. The oil is then sent to the receptacle where it is needed.
- The vacuum oil extractor is used for extracting oil from large trucks and other machines used in industrial processes. It is usually fitted with both input and output pipes and has a vacuum unit which has a hand pump. Whenever the operator depresses the pump, a suction is generated which sucks the oil.
- The drainer is an extracting tool used when the operator wants to extract oil from the bottom rather than from the top. The drainer is usually a large funnel which is used to collect oil as it spills out of the bottom mounted hole.
