How to Clean Iron Deposits Off Fiberglass Shower Stalls

1). Saturate a cleaning rag with water. Wipe the iron-stained fiberglass to remove any abrasive buildup.
2). Prepare to remove the iron deposits with an all-purpose cleaner. Put on rubber or latex cleaning gloves and safety glasses.
3). Pour 1 gallon of clean, hot water into a clean bucket. Add 2 tablespoons of trisodium phosphate, thoroughly mixing the crystals into the water. Fully dissolve the trisodium phosphate crystals.
4). Drench a nonabrasive sponge in the trisodium phosphate solution. Scrub the iron deposits with the drenched sponge, working up the fiberglass shower wall.
5). Continue scrubbing the reddish-brown deposits with the trisodium phosphate solution until they disappear.
6). Saturate another rag with hot water. Immediately wipe the trisodium phosphate off the fiberglass shower wall. Thoroughly rinse the fiberglass.
7). Dry the moistened fiberglass surface with a clean towel.
