    • 1). Open the trunk and locate the screws that fasten the interior body panel to the trunk frame and remove them.

    • 2). Pry one corner of the body panel to release the compression fittings that hold the panel to the body. Work your way around the circumference of the body panel releasing each connection. Remove the body panel and set aside.

    • 3). Locate the lock cylinder on the inside of the panel. Pull the metal rod out of the plastic housing with your hands.

    • 4). Remove the bolt from the rear of the lock with a ratchet and socket.

    • 5). Grasp the lock assembly, twist it to the left and pull it out.

    • 6). Install the new lock assembly by reversing the above process.
