Travel by Bike Riding in the Northern Part of Wisconsin With Nature

While traveling on Highway 8 in the northern part of Wisconsin we have found a lot of trails and roads to bike.
There are just as many ATV and snowmobile trails as there are vehicle traveled roads.
We started on Pine River Drive.
There are a couple of ATV trails we passed.
We parked, took our bike off the bike racks and gather the necessities we choose to bring along and just in the moment.
ATV and snowmobile trails are great, the grass is patted down and the dirt is wide enough to keep your bike in the wheel path.
The trails go up and down small hills and the trees are cleared out to make the riding experience fun and beautiful.
The bright sun is shining through the trees providing vitamin E to give us strength to travel for hours along the trails.
It appeared to be a great day for a bike ride.
Close your eyes and visualize this; 71 degrees, overcast skies where the sun is just begging to be shone and the air is quiet and calm.
We both say out loud together, "boy it's was a perfect day for a bike ride.
" As we gather our water bottles, biking gloves and sun glasses we started off on the dirt road, going about two miles to the passing Moon Lake.
No other person was in our view on the trail.
We went eleven miles before we came across another couple riding along an ATV trail that crossed our path just past Coleman Lake.
There are many different views of nature we saw while on the trails.
On our journey, we saw a grouse, two turkeys, and a doe with her two fawns.
It was peaceful and relaxed our minds.
We were biking along the trails with animals in their natural habitat.
As we pedal past each tree, shrub, or plant, it reminds us how many different living organisms are out there and how lucky we are to have such beautiful scenic views in Wisconsin that is not too far from our homes and some are even more lucky to have these views right in their back yard.
After riding twenty-two miles we rounded back on Kidd Lake Road to our vehicle.
We put our bikes back on the racks and just sat in the vehicle for a minute or two, savoring the great feeling our bodies have after this ride.
Having the sense of peace and being able to see animals so natural, is one of my favorite feelings.
