Pennsylvania offers cabin accommodations throughout the state, with a variety of cabin styles and perks, each located close to great sightseeing and activities. - Located in Weedville, the Wapiti Woods cabins allow you to get back to nature without leaving the comforts and luxury of home behind. All six cabins are nonsmoking and have full kitchen appliances and fireplaces; you can upgrade to a cabin with a two-person whirlpool tub. There is no Internet access. Facilities at Wapiti Woods include a picnic area, hiking trails, laundry area, community phone and library. Indulge yourself in a catered meal prepared in your cabin or, for adventurers, take a guided canoe trip on the Clarion River. Guides can also prepare elk tours and horse rides. The cabins are located close to several wineries, including Flickerwood Wine Cellars, Evergreen Valley Vineyards and the Winery at Wilcox, plus the Straub Brewery. No pets allowed.

wapitiwoods.com - Select from five cabins (all nonsmoking) at Bear Meadows in Boalsburg, each with fireplace, separate living room, full kitchen, dishwasher, porch, picnic area and coffee supplies. Vacation in style by letting onsite personnel grocery shop for you and deliver items to your cabin. Facilities at the cabin site include a general store, snack bar and pavilion. Internet access is not available. Walk from your cabin to the Rothrock State Forest or the Tussey Mountain Ski Resort and Family Fun Center. Avoid the noise often found in large chain hotels with Aiken's quiet hours, each night between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. Local sightseeing spots include Penns Cave and Rails to Trails. Dogs welcome.

Vacationers who prefer to stay plugged in will enjoy the free WiFi access in each cabin; upgrade to the Denali Lodge cabin, which features a Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, sauna, satellite television, kitchen with all appliances, full bath, grill and picnic table. Sunbathe at the Campers Paradise outdoor pool and deck or play a game at the life-size checkerboard. Other activities include croquet, river tubing, hiking nature trails, horseshoes and playground. The cabins are located a mile from the Clear Creek State Park and the Clarion River. The Campers Paradise does not accept pets.
