How to Clear and Level Land
- 1). Compile a group of 10 to 12 individuals who are strong enough to sustain moderate labor for one or two days while out in the sun.
- 2). Designate locations to each individual or group, to clear rocks, trash, roots and debris from that assigned region.
- 3). Discard the material that was collected by the group of workers in a safe and responsible way. Dig up and remove any old bushes, shrubs, small trees and large roots that remain in the area you are trying to clear.
- 4). Regrade the site with a shovel and rake, if this is a small project, to level the land. For larger projects, hire an equipment operator to bring a bulldozer with a scrapper blade, to push and pull dirt around as needed for optimal leveling.
