- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button on the Web server and select "Computer." Double-click through the directories until you reach the folder for the PHP and FTP content.
- 2). Right-click the main folder for the PHP pages and select "Properties." Click the "Security" tab. This tab displays all users who have access to the folder.
- 3). Click the "Internet Guest Account" user. Check the option labeled "Read" to give access to the files. This security option gives your Internet readers the ability to see your Web pages.
- 4). Repeat these steps for the FTP folder. In addition to giving read access, check the option for "Write" access if you want to allow readers to upload files to the FTP folder. Click "OK" to save the changes.
