- 1). Press "Ctrl," "Alt," and "Delete" together to open the Windows Task Manager. Click the "Processes" tab.
- 2). Click "svchost.exe" and click "End Process." Then click "nrcs.exe" and click "End Process." This kills the running process of this parasite.
- 3). Click the Windows "Search" button and click "Search." Then click "Search All Files and Folders" to open the search box.
- 4). Search for and delete the following files: nrcs.exe and svchost.exe.
- 5). Empty the Recycle Bin to complete the removal process.
