    • 1). Turn off the treadmill and unplug it from the power source.

    • 2). Remove the retaining screws from the deck of the rear roller using the appropriate screwdriver for your treadmill.

    • 3). Remove the rear roller bolts using your ratchet. Write down how many turns it takes to remove the bolts so you can replace them at the same tension later.

    • 4). Remove the rear roller from the back of the treadmill and place it aside. Raise the shroud at the top of the treadmill and secure it up out of the way using a bungee cord. This will expose the motor.

    • 5). Hand turn the flywheel (wheel on the right side) while pushing the belt of the drive wheel aside. Then remove the front roller retaining bolts and lift off the front roller. When you remove the bolts, take note of their tension so you can properly replace them.

    • 6). Install the new belt over the end of the front roller. Replace the front roller and tighten the bolts on the front roller to the appropriate tension.

    • 7). Spin the front roller by hand, pushing the drive belt onto the pulley. Spin the roller many times to make sure it is properly installed and rotates smoothly.

    • 8). Replace the rear roller, installing the bolts to the same level of tightness as they were before the reinstall. Lower the shroud to cover the motor.
