How to Save a Screen in Windows

    • 1). Press the "Print Screen" key. A screen capture will save to the clipboard. The Print Screen key may be called PrtScn, PRTSC, PRTSCN or something similar.

    • 2). Click "Start," "All Programs," "Accessories" and then "Paint."

    • 3). Click "Edit" and then "Paste." The screen capture will appear in the Paint program. You can also hold down the "Control" key and press "V" to paste the image.

    • 4). Click "File," then "Save." Enter a name for the screen capture and then click "Save."
