    • Departing at the Toulouse Street Wharf behind Jax Brewery, the Steamboat Natchez Dinner/Jazz Cruise offers indoor and outdoor seating along with a casual, buffet-style dinner.

      During the ride, you will be treated to live jazz music by the Dukes of Dixieland. Boarding call is at 6 p.m. and the cruise is from 7 to 9 p.m. March through October. Call for seasonal cruise times from November through February. Reservations are recommended and group rates are available.

    Creole Queen

    • Cruise on the New Orleans Creole Queen and take a tour of the Chalmette Battlefield. The captain will entertain you with details about the history of New Orleans, its landmarks and river lore.

      On this cruise, you will leave the ship to set foot on the site of the 1815 Battle of New Orleans and the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park. You can tour the Chalmette Battlefield and the Chalmette Monument before returning to the ship.

      Prices are $20 for adults and $10 for children and reservations are highly recommended (as of March 2010). This price includes the narrated cruise and admission into the park. The Creole Queen is an authentic paddle-wheeler that features decks trimmed with wrought iron and a Victorian-style interior.
