- 1). Start your single-stream curbside recycling by visiting the Department of Public Works (DPW) office during City Hall hours to obtain your recycling sticker.
- 2). Place the sticker on any existing trash container. If you have a green or blue recycling bin from the previous dual-stream system, you may continue to use the recycling bin for all of your recyclables. Cardboard boxes no longer have to be cut down into small pieces.
- 3). Flatten your cardboard boxes by cutting or opening the top and bottom seams and folding them down flat.
- 4). Place the flattened cardboard boxes into the recycling container. Leave your recycling container out the evening before or the morning of collection day.
