How to Make Mass Booklets
- 1). Make sure you have plenty of paper to finish the project. Also make sure you have the time to add more paper when necessary. If printing a large number of booklets, your printer will probably run out of paper and you will need to insert more paper.
- 2). Download the template for a mass booklet. By clicking on the "Template" link, you will have a starting point for your booklet. Once you click on the link, you will need to hit either "Open" or "Save." If you think you might need the template at a future date, click "Save" and save it to a location on your computer that you will remember.
- 3). Replace the information in the template with the information from your program. This template is designed for a wedding, but can be used for anything. If necessary, you can delete all of the information from the page and add new information. If making a booklet for a promotion, put in any information that is necessary. If making mass booklets for a funeral, click on the "Funeral" link below for information on what information goes in a funeral liturgy.
- 4). Go to "File" on Microsoft Word and click on "Print." Click on the "Properties" button on the print screen. Click the "Page Setup" tab at the top of the window that comes up. Look for the "Duplex Printing" box near the bottom of the properties screen. Click this box. Click OK on this screen, choose how many copies you wish to print, then click OK to begin printing.
- 5). Allow all of the pages to print out. Do not remove any of the pages until they have all printed. Once all of the pages have printed out, take the stack of papers (keeping them in order) and place them back into the printer. Make sure you place the paper so that the printer will now print onto the back of all the pages. If all of the pages will not fit in the printer, put them in a few at a time, making sure to put the first pages that printed back in the printer first.
- 6). Once all pages have printed out, place them in order. You can now choose how to keep the pages together, whether by stapling them or using a 3-hole punch and putting them in a folder.
