How to Update Internet Explorer Maintenance in Group Policy
- 1). Click on the Start menu and select "Run..." Type without the quotes "gpedit.msc" and hit "Enter" key. This will launch the Group Policy Editor. Remember you will need administrator rights to access this utility.
- 2). Click on "Internet Explorer Maintenance" under the subheading "Windows Settings" in "User Configuration."
- 3). Locate "Internet Explorer Maintenance." Right-click on it and select "Preference Mode."
- 4). Right-click on "Corporate Setting" and select "Properties."
- 5). Click to select "Automatically" in the "Check for newer versions of stored pages" drop-down menu. Click on "Apply" and hit "OK."
