How to Write Pics to a CD With an Olympus FE 280
- 1). Open the computer's media tray, install the CD software and close the tray. The disc will start automatically. Click on each on-screen prompt to complete the software installation, then restart the computer.
- 2). Connect the USB cable from the port on the side of the Olympus camera to any unused USB port on the computer.
- 3). Press the "On" button on top of the camera, which should trigger the Olympus Master software to launch on the computer. if the software does not start, double-click the Olympus Master icon on the computer desktop.
- 4). Click the desired images for downloading to the computer by clicking the box next to each picture with the computer mouse.
- 5). Click "Transfer Images" to move copies of the selected photos to the computer.
- 1). Open the computer's media tray, remove any disc and replace with a blank recordable CD, then close the tray.
- 2). Double-click on the designated drive for the media tray, which will usually be labeled Drive D and listed as CD RW (D:) or DVD RW (D:) if the computer is also capable of playing and recording DVDs. A new window will open. Select "Burn Files to Disc."
- 3). Open the "Pictures" folder on the left-hand side of the screen to display sub-folders containing all digital images on the computer.
- 4). Click and hold the left-hand mouse button on each picture for burning to the CD and drag the image to the Burn list on the right-hand side of the screen.
- 5). Click "Burn to CD" to write the digital photos to the CD. Select "Yes" or "No" to code the disc with a slideshow player so the images will advance automatically when the disc is inserted in a computer or other device for playback.
