Pima Soccer Scholarships
- According to the Pima Athletics website, the Pima women's soccer team has been competing at the NJCAA's Division 1 level since 1996. The Pima Aztecs women's soccer team plays their home games at the Pima Community College West Campus. The Pima website notes that the Aztec women's soccer team has reached the junior college national tournament two times, placing third in the nation in the 2007 soccer season.
- According to the National Junior College Athletic Association website, NJCAA Division 1 women's soccer teams are permitted to offer 18 full scholarships per year. NJCAA rules also state that only four scholarships of the 18 can be awarded to foreign or non-United States citizens. Junior college women's soccer scholarships are full scholarships which means tuition, books, plus room and board are included and paid for as part of the scholarship. Division 1 junior college women's soccer also is a full head count sport, which means scholarships cannot be split or divided among multiple players.
- The Pima Community College Aztecs men's soccer team plays their games at Pima Community College's West Campus according to the Pima Athletics website. Pima men's soccer plays in Region 1 of the NJCAA, with 10 other junior colleges from across Arizona. All 10 Arizona junior colleges make up the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference, which Pima won during the 2010 season.
