Four Tips to Help You Increase Your Blog Traffic
Provide solid content not a sales pitch.
I'm an Internet Marketer and I don't like being 'sold' so don't expect your readers to want to read through your sales pitch.
Your blog posts helps your readers to get to know you by understanding more about you.
Approach every new blog post like an introduction to a conversation.
You want to provide your point of view on a subject and then asked open-ended questions for other readers to provide their feedback.
2.
Provide fresh content, sure you may be new and not sure what to write, ensure when you research a new topic that you create your opinion not replicate someone else's opinion.
A great way of providing fresh content is relating every day situations or events that occur to your business in a way that is truly unique to you.
This is this opportunity to relate to your readers, maybe an event happens to your favourite football team or you can relate a recent challenge while fishing to your business.
3.
Be open to feedback.
Keep in mind that your opinion is...
well your opinion...
so be aware that there may be others that think differently.
That's ok, you want to engage with people and want them to share their opinion in a conversational way not in a defensive way based on how you have supported your views.
4.
What goes around comes around.
Who do you know within your own network that creates blog posts on subjects your interested it in? Read their material and provide your feedback.
The great thing is every time you provide your feedback your given the opportunity to leave your website details.
This also introduces you to lots of other little conversations online which gives you an opportunity of meeting new people through this association.
This approach also provides more exposure not only to you but your website.
