- 1). Go to the iTunes homepage in your web browser (see Resources). Download and install iTunes.
- 2). Plug the iPhone cable into your iPhone and connect the USB connector to the computer. Once Windows Vista Professional recognizes the iPhone, it will automatically open iTunes.
- 3). Drag any music or videos that you would like to add to the iPhone into the iTunes window. The files will automatically be added to your iTunes library.
- 4). Click on the iPhone logo on the left side of the iTunes window to display information about your specific iPhone such as software version, free hard drive space and your owner information.
- 5). Navigate through the tabs at the top of the iTunes window to choose the different elements that you would like to sync.
- 6). Click "Sync" at the bottom right of the iTunes window to sync the phone. Do not remove the cable from the phone or computer until the sync is complete.
