Cell Phone Lookup Reunites Friends... Again
Things often happen in life to take friends on different paths; it happened to us. We each had kids, then I divorced, and then we all moved to other cities. It's no big surprise we slowly grew apart and lost track of each other.
One day, another mutual friend told me she ran into Lana at a family reunion - this friend had relatives through marriage in common with her - and they got to talking about me. Lana expressed regret over losing track of me through the years, but the mutual friend wasn't going to give out my number until she had my permission. I told her I'll handle it.
I was excited to hear about my old friend, and wanted to look her up, and I was going to do it myself. Normally, when I want to find someone, I turn to a cell phone lookup. I was curious to find out how things have changed over the years, and I entered Lana's full name and state of residence into the online search form. There they were: Lana, Henry, the baby who was no baby any more, and... looks like they had another kid I didn't even know about. Why am I surprised - I'd had two more since then. They still lived in Boston, in the same neighborhood, and it looked like Lana was the one with a booming career - no surprise there. Henry was always more domestic. Most importantly, the cell phone lookup results delivered my old friend's cell phone number, and I was going to use it.
I won't bore you with the details of this phone reunion. Suffice it to say, there was a lot of loud screeching, laughter and tears, and talking. After we'd caught up with each other a little bit, Lana realized that she never gave her cell phone number to my friend for me to call, and she wanted to know how I knew her number. With a mysterious smirk, I told her a little wonder called cell phone lookup told me.
