How to Remove Automatic Startup Programs in Microsoft Windows 2000
- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run."
- 2). Type "regedit" and click "OK" to open the Windows Registry Editor.
- 3). Locate the top-level folder labeled "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE." Click the arrow next to the folder name to expand it. Repeat the process for each of the following sub-folders: "Software" > "Microsoft" > "Windows" > "CurrentVersion" > "Run."
