  Voorburg, one of three towns in the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg, lies on the banks of the Vliet canal. Situated on the western side of the South Holland---Zuid-Holland---province of the Netherlands, Voorburg offers a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere than neighboring cities such as The Hague. • Nestled within the centuries-old Vreugd & Rust Park, Restaurant Hotel Savelburg overlooks the Vliet canal. The refurbished building dates back to 1751, yet provides all the modern amenities expected of a four-star hotel: free parking and wireless Internet, laundry, safe, hairdryer, digital television, trouser press, bathrobe, telephone, newspapers, 24-hour front desk, currency exchange and private bath. Children under 12 stay free. Cribs and extra cots incur additional fees per night.
