- 1). Select "Security List" from the "Investing" drop-down menu to open the Security List window. You can also open the Security List window by pressing the "Ctrl" and "Y" keys on your keyboard.
- 2). Select the "Hide" check box to the right of the security you want to hide. When you hide a security in Quicken, it no longer displays on your Security List. Quicken maintains a record of all transactions related to that security, however, such as buy, sell, interest and dividend reinvestment transactions.
- 3). Click the "Done" button to close the Security List window. The securities you've hidden won't display the next time you open the Security List.
