Cessna Aircraft Company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of general aviation aircraft either for personal, business or flight training use. Many models have been developed in the many years of existence of the company. One of these models is the Cessna 152 which was designed as a multi-purpose civil aircraft, primarily used for personal travels or flight trainings. It is a two seat model with a fixed tricycle landing gear and evolved from the design of the Cessna 150. The two aircraft models have similar characteristics in the physical features but differ in the power plant engine and other performance specifications.

Cessna 152 was first introduced in the market in 1977 as the 1978 model aircraft. The Cessna 152 was built to compete with the new models manufactured by competitor aircraft companies that year, Beechcraft's Skipper and Piper's Tomahawk. The Cessna 152 was built to improve the existing design of the 150 model and to provide additional useful load to the aircraft and to run it in a less noise flight. The Cessna 152 performance specs were an improvement to the specifications of the 150 since the engine has been improved from a Continental O-200-A of the Cessna 150 to a more powerful Lycoming O-235. The 152 model was also built to be compatible with the lower lead fuel, 100LL, in order to run better. The model was mass produced until 1985 when the aircraft company ceased to manufacture light aircrafts.

Cessna 152 is an all metal high wing aircraft primarily constructed with aluminum 2024-T3 alloy with wing tips made from glass reinforced plastics. It has dual controls optionally installed to all units of Cessna 152 model. It is designed with a fixed landing gear positioned in a tricycle arrangement, one wheel in front, called the nose wheel, and the other two or more main wheels behind at the center of gravity. There were many modifications also done on the many models out in the market which included the tail wheel landing gear, STOL kits, engines and other parts.
