How to Install NetMeeting in Vista
- 1). Download NetMeeting and save it to your desktop (see Resources).
- 2). Close the “Open File” window by clicking the “X” in the upper right corner.
- 3). Locate the install file on your desktop and right-click on the file. Select “Properties,” then click on the “Compatibility” tab.
- 4). Check the “Run this program in compatibility mode” box and select “Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)” from the drop-down menu.
- 5). Check the “Run this program as an administrator” box under the “Privilege Level.”
- 6). Click “Apply,” then “OK” to save your changes.
- 7). Double-click on the install file on the desktop to install NetMeeting.
- 1). Download the hotfix (or software fix) that contains NetMeeting (see Resources). Click “Run” in the “Open File” window.
- 2). Click “Next” at the first screen of the NetMeeting Setup Wizard. Click “I accept the terms in the License Agreement” after reviewing the end-user license agreement.
- 3). Click “Install” to install NetMeeting on your computer, then click “Finish.” Restart your computer when installation completes.
- 4). Click “Start,” then type “Run” in the search field.
- 5). Type “CONF” in the “Open” field in the “Run” window.
