- 1). Locate small tire independent tire shops. Most of them will be more willing and able than large shops to help you find the sizes you need. Small shops usually provide more independent service, and they are more likely to take the time to search for you.
- 2). Look on the Internet for antique tire suppliers. Several of them sell the older truck tire sizes. See the Resources section, or you can search for others online.
- 3). Search automotive wrecking yards for older truck tire sizes. Some of them specialize in older vehicles. You can search the Internet for these wrecking yards by entering your particular year, make and model truck into the search engine of your choice. The wrecking yard you choose will depend on the make of your old truck, because the wrecking yards usually are make specific. They might specialize in Fords, Chevrolets, Dodges, etc.
