How to Start Up Windows XP
- 1). Connect your computer's power cord to a wall socket or power strip, and then plug the other end into your computer's power supply (if necessary).
- 2). Press the "Power" button on your computer case. It should be in an obvious location and marked as such.
- 3). Allow the Windows XP operating system to load, and then type your password when prompted. Windows XP will now log in to your user account, and it has finished starting up.
