How to Disassemble an EXE File

    • 1). Click "Start," then choose "Computer." Double-click the "C:" drive icon and a window with everything running on the drive loads onto the screen.

    • 2). Select "Programs" to load the program list, then double-click the program that has the EXE file you want to disassemble.

    • 3). Search through the new window for the EXE file. If you want to delete it, right-click the file and choose "Delete" to remove the file from the computer system. Or you can disable the file if you don't want it permanently removed by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" and "Disable" to prevent the file from running on the computer system.
