- 1). Insert the disc that came with your purchase of Windows Vista Premium into your computer and then reboot your machine. The computer will now boot from the disc.
- 2). Select the country you are located in when prompted, and then enter your personal information such as your name and address into the appropriate boxes.
- 3). Read through the licensing agreement for Vista Premium on your screen and select "I Agree" to accept the licensing terms for the software.
- 4). When prompted, enter the product key for your software. The product key will be printed on a sticker or piece of paper inside the packaging for your copy of Vista Premium.
- 5). Click "Install" to have your computer start the installation process. A status bar will appear on the screen indicating how far your PC is along in the process. You can expect the process to take up to several hours to complete.
