How to Fix the 30 FPS Issue in Evo

    • 1). Plug you HTC Evo 4G into a charger and allow it to charge up to 30 percent full before you attempt the software upgrade. Keep the device plugged into the charger throughout the upgrade.

    • 2). Press the "Menu" button underneath the screen. Tap the "Settings" button that on the small menu that pops up.

    • 3). Slide your finger up the screen to scroll down to "System Updates," and tap it.

    • 4). Tap the "HTC software update" button, then tap "Check Now" at the bottom of the screen. Once the "A system update is available" screen appears, tap "OK," followed by "Yes," to start your download.

    • 5). Select "Install Now" once the download is complete and tap "OK." Wait for the "Congratulations" screen to appear, which can take several minutes, and then tap "OK" to complete the software upgrade. Your Evo 4G will no longer be capped at 30 FPS.
